Hello, and thanks for shopping with What Is My Generation. These are the terms that apply when you buy from us. We've tried to keep them plain and fair. If anything isn't clear, email us at hello@whatismygeneration.com and a human will reply.

WHO WE ARE

This website, whatismygeneration.com, is run by Vulcaire Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17323909. What Is My Generation is a trading name of Vulcaire Ltd.

• VAT: Vulcaire Ltd is not registered for VAT, so we don't charge VAT and our prices don't include it.

"We", "us" and "our" mean Vulcaire Ltd. "You" means the person placing the order. We sell to consumers, for personal use.

WHAT WE SELL, AND HOW IT'S MADE

We sell T-shirts, hoodies and similar clothing with generation-themed designs. Everything is printed to order. That means your item is made after you buy it, by a print-on-demand production partner (we use Gelato), and then sent straight to you. We don't keep a warehouse of ready-made stock.

Because every piece is printed individually:

• colours on screen may look slightly different from the real thing, as every screen is different;
• the print position and size can vary by a few millimetres from the pictures on our site; and
• sizes follow the measurements in our Size guide. Please check it before you order.

PLACING AN ORDER AND WHEN A CONTRACT IS MADE

1) You choose your items and add them to your bag.
2) You check the order, enter your delivery details and pay through our secure checkout.
3) We email you to confirm we've received the order. Our contract with you starts when we send that confirmation.

If we can't accept your order (for example, an item is unavailable or there's a pricing error), we'll tell you and refund you in full straight away.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

• All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).
• Delivery is free on all orders. The price you see in your bag is the price you pay.
• No VAT is added, because we are not VAT registered.
• Payments are taken by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We never see or store your full card number.
• We might occasionally get a price wrong. If we spot a mistake before accepting your order we'll let you know and give you the choice to go ahead at the right price or cancel.

DELIVERY

We currently deliver to addresses in the UK only. Full details of timings are in our Delivery & returns policy.

YOUR RIGHT TO CHANGE YOUR MIND (14-DAY CANCELLATION)

You have a legal right to cancel an order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive your goods.

Our designs are standard designs printed on demand, not personalised to you, so the legal exception for made-to-order goods doesn't apply to them.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR MISPRINTED ITEMS

Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by anything in these terms. In short, items must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something arrives faulty, damaged or misprinted, or it isn't the item you ordered, tell us and we'll replace it or refund you, and we'll cover the return cost if one is needed. CANCELLING BEFORE WE MAKE IT

Because your item is printed to order, the sooner you tell us, the better. If you email us before your order has gone into production, we'll cancel it and refund you in full. Once it's in production we can't stop it, but you can still return it under your right to change your mind once it arrives.

IF WE HAVE TO CANCEL OR CAN'T DELIVER

If something outside our control stops us fulfilling an order (for example, the item is no longer available or can't be delivered), we'll tell you as soon as we can and refund you in full, including anything you've paid for delivery.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs, artwork, logos, words and images on this site belong to Vulcaire Ltd or are used with permission. Buying an item gives you the item, not the right to copy or sell our designs.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU

Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility we can't legally limit, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Otherwise, we're responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or our legal duty of care. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses (as we sell to consumers for personal use only).

EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as postal or courier disruption, extreme weather, strikes, or supplier or platform outages. We'll tell you if that affects your order and do our best to sort it.

If something's gone wrong, please email hello@whatismygeneration.com first. We'd like the chance to put it right.

WHICH LAW APPLIES

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can bring a claim in the courts there or in England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to that order.
